La Vie en Rose has donated €1.1 million to Agioi Anargyroi Oncology Hospital in Kifisia-Athens, making a substantial contribution to the modernisation of the hospital's facilities and medical technology. This initiative reflects the values at the heart of both the company and its founder, Dimitra Katsafadou, whose commitment to giving back has shaped La Vie en Rose from the very beginning. As she has said: "La Vie en Rose came into existence through divine intervention, so that I could give as much as possible to people who are suffering."
Transforming Facilities and Medical Technology
The donation, made in July 2025, included two state-of-the-art CT scanners, a radiotherapy simulator and advanced laser systems for oncology treatments. It also funded the development of dedicated spaces to accommodate the new equipment, the complete refurbishment of the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and the technical and engineering studies required to support the project.
These upgrades were essential, as much of the hospital's existing equipment had been in service for more than twenty years and was no longer able to meet the growing demands of modern cancer care. Patients now benefit from access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies that improve diagnostic precision and enhance the effectiveness of treatment.
